APRIL 7, 1940 -- NOV. 19, 2004

Milton Swain Jr. of Buffalo died Friday in Sisters Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 64.

Born in Alpine, Ala., Mr. Swain had lived in this area since 1960. He had worked at Westvaco Corp. before becoming disabled.

Survivors include a daughter, Tina Pennyamon of Buffalo; three sons, Wilton Pennyamon of Buffalo, Darin of Oakland, Calif., and Timothy of Buffalo; his mother, Mae Etta of Alpine; five sisters, Lue Etta Thompson and Ruby Keith, both of of Alpine, Georgia Ann of Roanoke, Ala., and Lizzie Jones and Margaret Jackson, both of Buffalo; three brothers, Sam and Henry, both of Buffalo, and Willie of Alpine; and 21 grandchildren.

Services and burial will be held Friday in Alpine.
