A 22-year-old Seneca Street man, recently paroled after serving four years for an armed robbery in West Seneca, was arrested early Monday after he was found by Buffalo police to be riding a stolen ATV through Broadway traffic at more than 70 mph.
Roosevelt Holloway, 22, was charged with reckless endangerment, two counts of criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Holloway was riding the 2004 Honda four-wheeler shortly after midnight when he was intercepted by Ferry-Fillmore District Officers Kenneth Szyszkowski and James Reese.
He led police on a high-speed chase before he jumped off the vehicle and hid under a nearby car, Reese said. He was found by officers and taken into custody a short time later. The ATV was stolen on Oct. 22 from an elderly couple's Florida farm.
