Services for Carlos Diaz of Buffalo, a retired railroad worker, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Lombardo Funeral Home, 102 Linwood Ave. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
Mr. Diaz, 91, died Saturday in Erie County Medical Center.
A native of Puerto Rico, he came to Buffalo in 1950 and worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail. He retired in 1980.
He was a member of the Assemblies of God.
Mr. Diaz enjoyed gardening and reading.
His wife, the former Ernestina Gomez, died in 1967.
Survivors include three daughters, Ana Alemany, Olga Hernandez and Lydia Diaz, all of Buffalo; four sons, Carlos, Rafael, Louis and Sigfrido, all of Buffalo; a sister, Francisca Lozada of Puerto Rico; a brother, Felix of Buffalo; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
