The 2004 Buffalo Music Awards were given out Thursday night in Evolution nightclub in Williamsville.
Some 800 people -- "a packed house," according to organizer Dave Coaster -- were on hand as more than 70 awards were given to local musicians and clubs.
Awards were given based on online and mail-in votes from those in Buffalo's music community after nominations were made by sponsor Night Life magazine. The club winners were decided by Night Life. Here are the winners:
