JACK L. THOMSON
MARCH 29, 1934 -- NOV. 18, 2004

A memorial service for Jack L. Thomson, a retired Rochester Telephone Co. employee, will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246. N. Main St.

Mr. Thomson died Thursday in his Warsaw home. He was 70.

A native of the village of Warsaw, he served in the Army from 1955 to 1958 and worked for the telephone company for 38 years in various capacities until his retirement in 1996. He then worked as a groundskeeper at Arrowhead Golf Course in Warsaw.

Mr. Thomson was a member of the Wyoming County Veterans Club; Warsaw Lodge 560, Loyal Order of Moose; Perry Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars; and the Silver Lake Sportsman's Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Burrell of Yuma, Ariz.; a son, Jay of Warsaw; a stepdaughter, Karrie Rutherford of Warsaw; a stepson, Michael Densmore of Le Roy; a sister, Jane Simmons of San Marcos, Calif.; a brother, Charles of Perry; his companion, Gloria Briggs; and six grandchildren.
