EVENTS FOR THE DISABLED

Parent Network of Western New York offers an informational meeting, "Coping With Daily Stress Frustrations," from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday in the Parent Network office, 1000 Main St. Identify causes of stress and learn positive responses to stressful situations, develop strategies for helping children deal with stress. Project COACH, Community Outreach and Crisis Hotline, a program at Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled, will host an open house 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at 1845 Kenmore Ave., Kenmore. For information, call 877-1111.

Technology Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Project provides statewide coordination of assistive technology activities for people with disabilities, fosters development of state and federal policies, and provides information, referral, training and technical assistance, and advocacy on how to access and use assistive technology devices and services.
