Newman Center Chapel on the University at Buffalo North Campus was the setting at 2 p.m. Saturday when Christine F. Kurek and Jason M. Taber were united in marriage. Monsignor J. Patrick Keleher performed the wedding ceremony.
A reception for the couple was given in River Oaks Golf Club clubhouse. They will be at home in Snyder after traveling to Las Vegas, Nev.
The bride is the daughter of Richard F. and Ann Kurek of Portland and Bradenton, Fla., and the bridegroom is the son of David and Diane Taber of Grand Island.
The bride is a graduate of Fredonia State College and is a software developer for Harris Computer Systems, Niagara Falls. She is a member of the board of directors of Shakespeare in the Park.
The bridegroom is a graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute and is employed as an inside account executive for Atto Technologies.
