22ND ST. WOMAN ROBBED AS SHE ENTERS HER HOME

A 22nd Street woman told police she was accosted and robbed as she tried to enter her home early Saturday.

The victim told police she parked in her driveway and was entering her front door about 1:20 a.m. when a man ran up from behind. When she closed the door, he broke out two glass panels, yelling "where's my money?"

The man grabbed the woman before she handed over her purse, containing $420 cash and three credit cards, then fled, police said.
