ROBERT KWIATEK, OWNED CARPET BUSINESS
SEPT. 8, 1951 -- NOV. 17, 2004

Robert Kwiatek of Darien Center, owner of a carpet sales and service business, died unexpectedly Wednesday in United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia. He was 53.

Known as "Warehouse Bob," Mr. Kwiatek was born in Buffalo and was a graduate of Lancaster High School. He owned KWI Associates for almost 30 years.

Mr. Kwiatek enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended Church on the Rock in Attica and operated Men's Warehouse in Darien -- a men's discipleship.

Survivors include his wife, the former Debbie R. Arcese; seven daughters, Shannon Johnson of Darien, Tammy Fuller of Byron, Mallory of Akron, and Kristen, Karli, Carissa and Gabrielle, all of Darien Center; three sons, Shawn, Dylan and James, all of Darien Center; a sister, Sue McElwain of Arizona; a brother, Ronald of Lancaster; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Tree of Life Assembly of God Church, 6090 Broadway, Lancaster. Burial will be in Darien Cemetery.
