Deane E. Bragg, 68, a former carpenter and Holland resident, died Thursday in a hospital near his home in Englewood, Fla.
A native of Lackawanna, Mr. Bragg moved to Florida eight years ago.
He served in the National Guard and was a a member of Local 9, Carpenters Union in Buffalo and of St. Raphael Catholic Church and Lodge 1933, Loyal Order of Moose, in Englewood.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Bishop of the Town of Boston; three sons, Deane D. of West Valley, and Kenneth and Timothy, both of Machias; three sisters, Phyllis Reinhardt of Eden, Joan Darzewski of Sandusky, Ohio, and Sharon Hawley of Arcade; two stepdaughters, Sue Cummings of Holland and Tina Kociszewski of South Wales; two stepsons, David P. West of Buffalo and Timothy West of Holland; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and Shirley Mariea, his companion and longtime friend.
A memorial Mass will be offered at 1 p.m. next Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 46 N. Main St., Holland.
