Women's Club of the University at Buffalo will have its annual "Soup's On" luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 4 in the Center for Tomorrow on the UB North Campus. Kathy Arbuthnot, Norma Rubin and Marilyn Flavin are chairwomen of the event. The menu will feature soups and desserts. Decorations will be poinsettias and wreaths that members and friends have ordered and will be picked up that day. Also for sale will be ornaments made by members of the club's craft group. Proceeds from the poinsettia, wreath and ornament sales will benefit Grace Capen Academic Awards.

Joan Ryan, at 626-9332, is taking reservations for the "Soup's On" luncheon through Monday. She also is taking poinsettia sale orders through Friday.

The club's International Group will entertain UB students at a holiday party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 14 in the Student Union on the north campus. Book Club members will meet at 1 p.m. Dec. 13 to discuss Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" and Dan Burstein's "Secrets of the Code."

Art History Group will meet at 10 a.m. Friday in the Village Center Gallery, Williamsville, to view original art work by local artists. They will meet at 10 a.m. Dec. 31 in Burchfield-Penney Art Center to view "The Unseen Cindy Sherman: Early Transformations 1975-76" and "Craft Art Western New York 2004" exhibits.
