The Niagara County Health Department announced it has filled all the flu shot appointments it has vaccine for and will take no more appointments until further notice.
The department had resumed taking appointments for its flu clinics last week after receiving 680 doses of vaccine from the state.
At 1 p.m. Tuesday, the department will offer bacterial pneumonia immunizations at a Wellness Fair in the Lewiston Senior Center on Lower River Road.
No appointment or prescription is needed for these shots, which the Health Department has recommended as an alternative to flu shots for senior citizens. Pneumonia is often triggered by the flu virus.
