LAURA ANNE COPIA, LONGTIME PIANO TEACHER
JAN. 12, 1913 -- NOV. 14, 2004

Laura Anne Copia, a piano teacher from Niagara Falls, died Sunday in Beechwood Nursing Home, Getzville. She was 91.

A native of Niagara Falls, she graduated from Trott Vocational High School.

Before beginning her long career as a piano teacher, she was employed at Kimberly-Clark Corp. for several years.

She was a life member of the Echo Society and a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Her family and friends said she will be remembered for her generosity, humor and sense of adventure. She enjoyed attending Niagara University basketball games and other local sporting events. She also enjoyed theatrical and musical productions at Artpark and Niagara University.

Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Friday in Labuda Funeral Home, 356 Portage Road, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls St. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston.
