2. Thanksgiving with Arthur!
Featuring the star of "Arthur's World," based on the PBS series and books by Marc Brown that engage urchins in role-playing, reading, writing and fantasy-play.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Rochester's Strong Museum, One Manhattan Square.
Make napkin rings and a centerpiece for turkey day or play "Pin the Hat on the Turkey."
Enjoy comedy and magic performances. Dress up like a clown and laugh!

3. A weekend of outdoor frolic:
10 a.m. Friday -- "Babes in the Olmsted Woods" at South Buffalo's Cazenovia Park features a natural world of games, stories and short hikes for preschoolers and their companions. Call 838-1249 to register. Donation requested.
9 a.m. Saturday -- "Survival Skills Mini Workshop" at Knox Farm State Park. No immunity challenge! Priorities and shelter building will be covered. Free. Located on Buffalo Road in East Aurora.
4. Find a different kind of polar express this weekend when the Western New York Railway Historical Society presents its "Train and Toy Show and Sale" in the International Agri-Center at the Hamburg Fairgrounds on South Park Avenue.
The show will feature toy trains, railroadiana, models and displays. Steamers, miniatures and a circus display model, too.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
