TWO ARRESTED IN PROBE OF HEROIN TRAFFICKING

Two Chautauqua County men were arrested on drug charges Tuesday in connection with trafficking heroin between Buffalo and the Jamestown area, Chautauqua County sheriff's officials reported.

Steven S. Brigotta, 25, of Jamestown, and Burke D. Minsker, 34, of West Ellicott, face felony charges of criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance.

They were arrested at Minsker's residence on Fairmount Avenue just before 1 p.m., concluding a two-month investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.

Undercover agents said they made several buys from the men during that time.

A search of the residence yielded 90 bags of heroin with a street value of about $2,500, police said.
