TRAFFIC VIOLATION STOP RESULTS IN GUN CHARGE

Buffalo police arrested a 22-year-old man Tuesday night after they stopped him at 6:55 p.m. on Castel Street for driving with a suspended license and discovered a stolen pistol in the trunk of his car, police said.

Michael Liggins of Dunlop Avenue was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with an expired inspection.
