A Niagara Falls man was sentenced to nine years in prison Tuesday for his role in the near-fatal stabbing of a Wheatfield man last year.
Raoul Dillon, 18, of Elmwood Avenue, was sentenced for attempted first-degree robbery by Niagara County Judge Peter L. Broderick Sr.
Dillon and two others attacked James R. Giannini, 27, on July 10, 2003, behind a convenience store on Marywood Drive in Lewiston. Giannini's car was stolen after the attack.
Wesley John, 19, and Christina Snyder, 23, both of Niagara Falls, are awaiting sentencing for attempted second-degree gang assault.
