L. JEAN SEGER, LONGTIME HOSPITAL SECRETARY
APRIL 28, 1933 -- NOV. 14, 2004

L. Jean Seger, a secretary at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, for 36 years, died Sunday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was 71.

Born Jean Conklin in Towanda, Pa., she came to this area as a child, attending local schools.

Mrs. Seger retired from Mount St. Mary's Hospital in 1994, then worked as a volunteer there for two years.

She was a member of the Home Bureau and enjoyed cooking and baking for others.

Her husband, Donald D., died in 1983.

Survivors include two daughters, Gail Boshane and Lori
Printup, both of the Town of Niagara; a sister, Patricia Seger of Indiantown, Fla.; three brothers, Edward Conklin, James Conklin and Norman Conklin, all of the Town of Niagara; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
