Connie C. Pecoraro of the City of Tonawanda, a retired department store clerk, died Monday in North Gate Manor Health Care Facility, North Tonawanda. She was 84.
Born Connie DiMarco in Buffalo, she worked as a sales clerk in the Jenss store in the Twin-Ton Plaza in the City of Tonawanda and the AM&A's store, later the Bon-Ton, in Sheridan Plaza in the Town of Tonawanda. She retired in 1995.
A City of Tonawanda resident since the mid-1950s, she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Tonawanda Senior Citizens.
Her husband, Angelo M., died in 1973.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol M. Anderson of the City of Tonawanda; two sons, Martin C. Pecora of Herndon, Va., and Charles of North Tonawanda; a sister, Carmella Gramaglia of Williamsville; a brother, Sam DiMarco of New Port Richey, Fla.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 71
Adam St., City of Tonawanda. Entombment will be in the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel Columbarium.
