Michael Sirica, 80, of Cheektowaga, a retired pizzeria owner, died Friday under hospice care in St. Joseph Hospital, Cheektowaga.
A native of Sarno, Italy, he came to the Buffalo area in 1955.
He worked as an assembler at Worthington Dresser Industries for 39 years. He also owned Napoli Pizzeria on Clinton Street in Buffalo for 20 years.
He enjoyed gardening and was proud of his grape vineyard.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, the former Sophia Lanzetta; three daughters, Louise Grabinowski of Clearwater, Fla., Rose M. Kalinowski of Houston and Michelle of Cheektowaga; three sons, Dan of West Seneca, Tony of Orlando, Fla., and Michael Jr. of Lockport; two brothers, Victorio of Brussels, Belgium, and Italia of Genova, Italy; a sister, Rona Sirica of Italy; and 14 grandchildren.
Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in Amigone Funeral Home, 6050 Transit Road, Depew, followed at 10 by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 2049 George Urban Blvd., Depew. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
