CAROL GRIFFITH ATTENDS WOMEN'S HISTORY EVENT

Carol A. Griffith of Williamsville, a federal women's program manager for Veterans Administration Western New York Healthcare System, is attending a conference of the National Women's History Project Board that opened Friday and ends Monday in Asti, Calif., to plan the project's National Women's History Month celebration for March. She is the only Western New York representative on the board.

National Women's History Project, founded in 1980, is a nonprofit organization providing information and educational materials and programs on the diverse and historic accomplishments of women. The organization successfully lobbied Congress to designate March as National Women's History Month.
