Citizens Bank appointed Michael Kubala senior vice president for Commercial Banking for the Buffalo Niagara region. Since 1998, Kubala has served as Western New York corporate banking director for Charter One Bank, which Citizens recently acquired. In addition, Kubala has held posts in commercial banking and commercial real estate lending with Citigroup and Empire of America in the Buffalo area.

The Greater Akron Chamber, the economic development agency in Akron, Ohio, named Williamsville resident Richard F. Rebadow senior vice president, Economic Development. Most recently, Rebadow served as western regional manager for the New York State Electric and Gas Economic Development Team, and formerly was the director of Business Services for Empire State Development's Western Region Office. A graduate from Canisius College, Rebadow has also been a guest instructor in its Urban Studies Department.
Rich Products Corp. founder Robert E. Rich Sr. has been inducted into The Culinary Institute of America's Hall of Fame. Rich was cited for his innovative spirit and entrepreneurial skill in shaping and developing the food industry. He developed Rich's Whip Topping, a nondairy topping made from soy in 1945, and in 1961, introduced Coffee Rich, a nondairy creamer that made the company famous. A plaque honoring Rich will be permanently displayed in the CIA's Hall of Fame.
The Pine Avenue Business Association in Niagara Falls appointed Lori Caso executive director. Caso is a partner in The PR Group, a private public relations company founded in 1992. In association with her company, Caso has worked with the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York, The Main Street Business and Professional Association, and The Niagara Falls City School District. Also, she is the host of "Lori and Friends" an Adelphia Cable TV production.
Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Western New York, a company that restores storm- and fire-damaged homes and businesses, appointed Thomas J. Kneeland general manager. Most recently, Kneeland operated his own home repair and remodeling service, and formerly was director of finance for TX RX Systems in Angola.
