JAMESTOWN MAN CAUGHT AFTER TWO-STATE PURSUIT

Police from both New York and Pennsylvania helped capture a Jamestown man who led officers on a high-speed chase Thursday night.

Michael Hetrick, 19, of Grant Street, faces several charges in both states including driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person and fleeing from a police officer.

The chase commenced about 10 p.m. Thursday on Route 62, with Jamestown police, New York and Pennsylvania state police and Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies participating. Hetrick's car became disabled on Cable Hollow Road in Warren County.
