C. Isabelle Jennings Kolb, 97, a retired bookkeeper, died Thursday in Waters of Aurora Park after a short illness.
A native of Troy, she moved to East Aurora with her parents when she was 4. Her father was a master craftsman at the Roycroft Campus.
She graduated from East Aurora High School and then worked as a bookkeeper for Kelvinator-American Motors, retiring in 1969 after 38 years of service.
Mrs. Kolb was a former member of the choir at St. Matthais Episcopal Church of East Aurora and was a volunteer for 17 years at Waters of Aurora Park. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Her first husband, William Delos Maier, a member of the Buffalo Common Council, died in 1951. Her second husband, Willard Kolb, died in 1971.
Survivors include two sisters, Charlotte Kill of Osteen, Fla., and Ruth Ells of East Aurora; and a stepson, John Jewett of Arizona.
A memorial service and private burial will be held in the spring.
