Bernadine M. Glose, a lifelong resident of this area, died Tuesday in Delaware Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was 88.
Born Bernadine Lauth in Buffalo, she was a 1934 graduate of Fosdick-Masten Park High School. A homemaker, she also worked as bookkeeper at National Appliance Service Co.
Mrs. Glose was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed bowling and was a Dale Carnegie distinguished speaker. She was an active member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Eggertsville.
Her husband, Herbert J., died in 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Bock of the Town of Tonawanda, and Karen Mitchell of Mount Holly, N.J.; two sons, Gerald of Lake View and Herbert J. of Amherst; a sister, Verna Neuner of Buffalo; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 1317 Eggert Road, Eggertsville, after prayers at 9 in Dengler Funeral Home, 2070 Eggert Road, Eggertsville. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
