Esther A. Cassata, a Buffalo native, died last Thursday in a Lakeland, Fla., hospital after suffering lung failure. She was 80.
Born Esther Wojciechowski, she had moved to Florida 20 years ago and worked several years as an accountant with the collection department of Barnett Bank.
Her husband, Joseph, died in 1979.
Survivors include three sons, Arthur of Las Vegas, James of Portsmouth, N.H., and Joseph of Cambria; a sister, Millie Hurley of Fort Myers, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
