Richard A. Countryman died Monday in Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was 50.
He was born in Springville, the son of Francis and Patricia J. Richards Countryman of Perry.
He graduated from Perry High School and Alfred School of Technology.
For more than 25 years, Mr. Countryman was employed by Lightin Mixers in Rochester as a machinist. He formerly worked for Jones Chemical in Caledonia and for the Wyoming County Department of Conservation.
He enjoyed exploring with his metal detector, collecting coins.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, the former Carolyn M. Anzalone; two sons, Bryan and Evan; a sister, Kathleen Ozzimo; and his maternal grandmother, Bernice Richards, all of Perry.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, 98 N. Main St. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
