Three Hamburg teenagers were charged Tuesday with tossing Molotov cocktails from a Route 219 overpass in the Town of Boston shortly before noon Monday, Erie County sheriff's officials said.
Colin Reap, 16, of South Abbott Road, Nicholas R. Kruszka, 16, of Boston State Road and a 15-year-old juvenile stopped their car on the Shero Road overpass and threw a Molotov cocktail onto the northbound lane of the highway, starting several small fires, deputies said.
Sheriff's deputies said the three were charged with arson and reckless endangerment.
The two older suspects were issued appearance tickets and released pending a future date in Boston Town Court. The juvenile was released on a Family Court appearance ticket.
