TOO MANY VOTERS SUCCUMBED TO BUSH'S IDEOLOGY OF FEAR

It is a sad, dark day in the history of our country. The electorate has blindly succumbed to the ideology of fear that was the hallmark of the Bush campaign. The president made people feel that a terrorist attack would happen any day, and that he was the only one who could save us, and many believed him.

It is a sad day when we do not consider the truth and listen to the facts, but allow our fears to rule our destiny. People put aside truth for fear. Franklin Roosevelt said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." We should have listened.
