Six Flags's third-quarter net income fell 60 percent, as cool weather hurt attendance at its amusement parks. Six Flags owns the Darien Lake Theme Park.
Six Flags late Monday reported net income of $56.4 million, or 53 cents a share, down from $140.2 million, or $1.32 a share, in the year-earlier period.
Revenue slid 3.3 percent to $527.4 million from $545.2 million, as attendance slid 4.8 percent, the company said.
Six Flags last month lowered its full-year outlook for adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization to $250 million to $255 million, blaming unseasonably cool and wet weather in several of its markets.
