Anthony A. Kwarciak of West Seneca, an Army veteran of the Korean War and a GM retiree, died Friday in Mercy Hospital. He was 74.
Born in Buffalo, he served in the Army from 1951 to 1959, including duty in the Korean War.
Mr. Kwarciak retired from General Motors in Buffalo in 1979 after 25 years of employment.
He enjoyed gardening and helping out the farmers at the Clinton-Bailey Farmers Market in Buffalo.
His wife, the former Helene Murat, died in 2000.
Survivors include a sister, Alice Torba of Lancaster.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 W. Morris St., Bath. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Bath.
