EMMA FAYE CARLSON

Services for Emma Faye Carlson of Ridgway, Pa., a homemaker and former resident of the Boston Hills area in Erie County, were held Saturday evening in Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home, Brockway, Pa. Burial will be in Temple Cemetery, Hazen, Pa.

Mrs. Carlson, who was born in Elbon, Pa., died Tuesday in Valley Ridge Home, Ridgway, after a long illness. She was 92.

Relatives said she and her husband, John, who died in 1999, had lived in Boston Hills in the early 1960s.

She enjoyed cooking and was an Atlanta Braves fan.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Jean Buchheit of East Aurora; five sons, James of Springville, William of Brockway, John of Brandy Camp, Pa., Gary of Kersey, Pa., and Daniel of New Mexico; a sister, Genevieve Shick of Ridgway; a brother, Glen Bloom of Elbon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
