A memorial Mass for Peter C. Brunetta III of Clarence will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Union Road and Genesee Street, Cheektowaga.
Mr. Brunetta died Oct. 25 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after a lengthy illness. He was 71.
Born in Buffalo, he was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Brunetta worked 23 years for International Paper, retiring in 1978. Between the 1980s and 2003, he worked for Jan Air, NAPA Auto Parts in Clarence and Aries Transportation Services.
Mr. Brunetta was an Avon dealer for many years and had an extensive grouping of Avon collectibles.
He volunteered at the Hudson Street Soup Kitchen and at St. Luke's Mission and had arranged and organized fishing tournaments for children.
A parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, he served as a Eucharistic minister, treasurer and choir member.
Survivors include two brothers, Frank and Richard, both of Wheatfield; a stepbrother, David of Laguna, Calif.; and his stepmother, Erma of North Tonawanda.
Another memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 13 in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 10950 Main St., Clarence.
