Three Chautauqua County men were charged early Wednesday with selling crack cocaine, culminating a six-month investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Police arrested Calvin W. Thomas, 47, of Dunkirk, and Willie D. Leatherwood, 33, and James L. Wallace, 37, both of Jamestown, on a felony charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Police said they made "numerous undercover purchases of crack cocaine" from the three men during their investigation.
Thomas was arrested at a Morton Street, Jamestown, address. During a search there, police found some crack cocaine along with scales, a police scanner and two shotguns.
All three were arraigned and jailed.
