Here's a list of road trouble spots that are expected to cause delays of up to 15 minutes in the week ahead:
I-290/Youngmann Highway (Town of Tonawanda/Amherst): Look for detours. The Youngmann between the Niagara Falls Boulevard and Millersport Highway exits will be closed to traffic from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.
Transit Road (Depew): Watch for lane restrictions between Broadway and French Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Sheridan Drive (Amherst): Construction from Mill Street to Transit Road will create reduced lanes Monday through Friday.
Walden Avenue/Union Road (Cheektowaga): Still a slow go on Walden Avenue, from the Thruway to Nagle Drive, and on Union Road, from Broadway to McKesson Parkway.
Route 33/Genesee Street (Cheektowaga): Reconstruction of Genesee Street continues near the entrance to Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
Route 5/Main Street (Buffalo): More stop-and-go driving along Main Street between Bailey and Hertel avenues.
