Alaska is the destination of William T. Nuttle and his bride, Erin S. Schmelzer, who will be at home in Elma.

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Springbrook, was the setting for their wedding at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. James A. Walter performed the marriage ceremony.

John and Nancy Schmelzer of Elma are the parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of John and Marie Nuttle of Naples, Fla.

A reception for the newly married couple was given in Elma Conservation Club.

A freight conductor for CSX Transportation, the bride is a graduate of Iroquois Central High School. The bridegroom, a graduate of St. Francis High School, attended Medaille College and University at Buffalo. He is a locomotive engineer with Norfolk Southern Corp.
