They talked about her new hit song, her makeup and her rhinestone T-shirt, but the subject of pardons did not come up during Denise Rich's appearance on a morning radio show Wednesday with singer Natalie Cole.
Cole has a new hit song out that she and Rich wrote called "Livin' for Love" that was played several times during their 45 minutes on WKTU-FM radio.
"We knew this was going to be an anthem," Rich said. "We felt it when we were writing it."
Rich plans to introduce Cole tonight when Cole performs the song at Club Exit in Manhattan at a celebration sponsored by WKTU. "I'll be wearing a rhinestone T-shirt that says, 'Livin' for Love,' " Rich said.
Questions have been raised about whether Denise Rich's generous contributions to the Democratic Party and Hillary Rodham Clinton's Senate campaign influenced former President Clinton's decision to pardon Rich's ex-husband fugitive Marc Rich.
But none of the disc jockeys mentioned the pardon scandal.
