Cecil E. Lacy, 74, died Tuesday (Feb. 27, 2001) in Lakeside Memorial Hospital, Brockport.
Lacy was born in West Middlebury in 1926. He was a 1944 graduate of Wyoming Central School and served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a custodian and grounds maintenance worker for Byron-Bergen Central School for more than 25 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of Bergen Post 575, American Legion; Holley Post 202, Veterans of Foreign Wars; Bergen Fire Department; and Bergen Rod and Gun Club.
His wife, Helen Redington Lacy, died in 1990.
He is survived by a daughter, Deborah Magoffin of Albion; two sons, William of Bergen and Robert of Spencerport; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. Burial will be in West Middlebury Cemetery.
