A Mass of Christian Burial for Julia C. Zaleski, a 15-year employee of Permanent Savings Bank, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 24th and Niagara streets.

Prayers will be said at 9 in Zajac Funeral Home, 319 24th St. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.

Mrs. Zaleski, 80, died Sunday (Feb. 25, 2001) in her Niagara Falls home.

Born Julia Grabiec in Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. In addition to her bank job, Mrs. Zaleski also worked for Machelor Maintenance at Sunrise Motel and at Envoy Hotel for eight years.

She was a New York Yankees fan and enjoyed needlepoint and baking.

Her husband, Berthold, died in 1990.

Survivors include four sons, Peter B. of Marlboro, Mass., Paul A. of Rochester, Robert A. of Niagara Falls and Richard J. of Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter, Mary Kay McDermott of the Town of Niagara; a sister, Kay Nowicki of Grand Island; two brothers, Dr. Max Grabiec of Grand Island and Louis J. Grabiec of Wheatfield; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
