A service for Harry S. Nicholson, a retired sales engineer, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Sieck & Mast Funeral Home, 250 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca. Burial will be in Holy Rest Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
Nicholson, 90, died Friday (Feb. 23, 2001) in his Orchard Park home.
Born in Nadine, Pa., he moved to Kenmore as a child and was educated in Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda schools.
He worked at Worthington Pump in Buffalo until retiring in 1975.
Active in church and civic groups for many years, Nicholson earned the Kenmore Junior Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Award for his work with the March of Dimes and the Salvation Army Building Fund.
His wife of 66 years, Maxine, died last year.
Surviving are two daughters, Deanne E. Kline of Bloomer, Wis., and Lynn E. Weil of Angola; a son, the Rev. Paul F. of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Maude Timby of Williamsville, Eleanor Mills of Florida and Grace Leo of California; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
