Meeting: Lawmakers will review a proposed agreement involving the Adelphia Communications project when the Stadium and Auditorium Task Force meets; 2 p.m., Room 1417 of City Hall.

The Common Council is being asked to approve a memorandum of understanding for a project that would see Adelphia build a high-rise operations center.

Public reception: The Commission on Citizens' Rights and Community Relations will hold a public reception; 5 p.m., City Hall lobby.

Mayor Anthony M. Masiello is scheduled to be among the speakers. Residents are invited to learn more about a commission that has been charged with monitoring complaints of police misconduct, improving racial and ethnic relations and combating bigotry and discrimination. The commission also will hold its monthly meeting; 9:30 a.m., Room 1702 of City Hall.


Meeting: The School Board will continue with its presentations on the district's 2001-02 school budget when it meets; 7 p.m., district offices, 591 Terrace Blvd. Presentations on the Board of Cooperative Educational Services budget will be made.


Meeting: The Planning Board, the Chautauqua County Department of Economic Development and the Jamestown Development Corp. will hold a public meeting for community members to discuss the future of Falconer; 7 p.m., Falconer Fire Hall.
