TURKEY DINNERS with mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, bread, butter and beverage will be served to the public from 5 to 7 p.m. today in Sikora Post 1322, American Legion, 950 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. The price is $5 per person. A choice of homemade dessert will cost $1 more. . . .

The post also serves spaghetti and meatball dinners from 5 to 7 p.m. every first Thursday of the month, including next Thursday, for $4. Dessert is $1 extra. . . .

"WARM THE CHILDREN" will benefit from the proceeds of a chicken barbecue starting at noon Sunday in AMVETS Post 219, located on Boston-Springville Road in Fowlerville, a mile and a half from the Rice Road exit of Route 219.

Serving will begin at noon, and it is open to the public. The meal will cost $6.50. Beverages will be available on a cash basis. The charity event is dedicated to the memory of Ed Schramm, past commander and charter member of the post, who always served as chairman. . . .

CABIN FEVER -- The annual Iron Island Cabin Fever Party will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday in the Iron Island Museum, 998 Lovejoy St., according to a note from Marge Hastreiter and Kitty Hastings, who can be contacted about tickets at 892-3084. Tickets cost $10, with proceeds going to the Iron Island Preservation Society of Lovejoy. . . .

A BENEFIT for the Mulderig family, who lost most of its possessions in a house fire Jan. 5, will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Buffalo Irish Center, 245 Abbott Road. Tickets are $20 per person or $35 a couple and can be purchased from Susan Eckam Horvatits at 823-4659 or Dennis Fay at 825-0540. The benefit will include pizza, refreshments, raffles and a silent auction. . . .
