COLLEGE OFFERS INTERNET CLASSES

Techniques on integrating e-commerce technology into one's business will be highlighted in E-commerce: A World of Opportunity, a five-part Internet series offered by the Small Business Development Center and Center for Continuing Education at Jamestown Community College.

The program will be offered at the Warren, Pa., center and the Cattaraugus County Campus in Olean on Tuesdays, March 6 to April 3; on the Jamestown campus on Wednesdays, March 7 to April 4, and at the North County Center in Dunkirk on Thursdays, March 8 to April 5. Meeting times are 8 a.m. to noon in Warren and Dunkirk; 6 to 10 p.m. in Olean and 1 to 5 p.m. in Jamestown.

Sessions include: Getting Started with Electronic Commerce, an overview of on-line services and implanting resources to communicate with business partners; Internet Business Operations, which examines how to use the Internet to reduce costs and improve efficiency; Internet Marketing and Sales, an examination of marketing to existing and prospective customers; Security on the Internet, and Web Site Design and Promotion.

The registration fee for the entire series is $160. The fee for individual sessions is $40, except for the Security on the Internet session, which is $30. For more information, 800-388-8557 or 800-522-7232.
