"I would appreciate a nice recipe for ambrosia," writes a Tonawanda reader, and we're happy to oblige. This old-fashioned dessert of Southern origin is a refreshing ending to a meal.
3 cups sliced oranges
3/4 cup shredded coconut
2 sliced bananas, optional
Sprinkle the orange slices with the coconut and chill well. If using bananas, add them at the end and serve cold. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
