TOP-PRIZE WINNER SAYS SHE'S 'SPEECHLESS'

Liz McNamee of Lancaster said she was at a loss for words when she found out she was this week's top-prize winner in SUPER JINGO Game No. 979, a trip for two to Orlando, Fla., and $500 cash.

Well, almost.

"No way! Oh, my God. You're kidding me. I'm speechless," she said. "I've been trying JINGO for years and years."

McNamee, who has worked for Big L Distributors for 18 years, plans to take her sister Margaret Constano with her on the trip. McNamee is the mother of three girls and has two grandchildren.

She and her sister will fly to Orlando on AirTran Airways and enjoy a five-day/four-night stay at either Orlando location of the Summerfield Suites by Wyndham. They will also receive admission with dinner at Pirate's Dinner Adventure, and McNamee will receive $500 cash.

Other winners are:

Tom Kuhn of Williamsville: Galyan's Tracker 2110 treadmill.

"Wow! We just started playing JINGO," he said. "This is only about the fourth entry I've sent in. We really wanted the first prize so we could get out of this snow."

Kuhn is the Eastern United States sales director for Wine Bauer, a wine importer. He is also the father of Erin, 13.

William Gravely of Buffalo: two tickets to four Broadway shows at Shea's Performing Arts Center.

Gravely and his wife of 34 years, Nancy, have four children and seven grandchildren.

Richard and Loretta Schifferle of Buffalo: Sabres merchandise package.

Loretta Schifferle has played since JINGO started. "We've played for a long time and won several prizes over the years," she said.

The Schifferles have been married for nearly 47 years. They have five children and 12 grandchildren. Richard is retired from M&T Bank.

Chuck Bobo of Batavia: restaurant and theater package.

"No kidding. What did I do to deserve this?" Bobo asked.

Bobo is a baker for Wegmans. He and his wife, Susan, have two daughters, Melissa, 23, and Brianna, 17.

Game cards for SUPER JINGO 981 can be found on Page F2 of today's Life section. Remember that it is not necessary to phone or come to The News if your name is listed as a winner. Prizes will be mailed.
