Niagara County Community College is seeking entries for its fourth annual video festival, which will be held March 24 on the Sanborn campus.
The contest, which offers more than $1,000 in prizes, will accept work in the music video, drama, comedy, documentary and experimental categories with a March 1 deadline.
The festival will include continuous screenings of video entries, tours of the college's TV and radio production facilities, informational exhibits, free food and refreshments as well as an awards ceremony and reception.
A video "boot camp" will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include shooting, lighting, audio, editing and special effects. The workshop will be taught by NCCC graduates now working as professionals in television and video production.
Enrollment is limited to 20 persons and requires a $10 registration fee.
The festival hours are from 1 to 5:30 p.m.
