On Feb. 4, The News had a picture of a priest, a child and Timothy McVeigh on the front page. McVeigh does not deserve to have his picture in our "hometown" newspaper, much less on the front page. Yes, he is from this area. But does his heinous crime and pending execution always need to be publicized?
I guess The News is giving him exactly what he wants -- publicity. Why not leave the front page for heroes and those more deserving of attention?
