Florence Prystawski, 80, of Wheatfield, died Saturday (Feb. 17, 2001) in Northgate Manor Heath Care Facility, Wheatfield, after a lengthy illness.
Born Florence Faiazza in Toronto, she was raised in Crystal Beach, Ont. She graduated from Fort Erie High School and attended the Toronto School of Business.
Mrs. Prystawski lived in Crystal Beach for 28 years before moving to the City of Tonawanda, where she lived for 45 years. She moved to Wheatfield in April.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, City of Tonawanda.
She married Stanley Prystawski in 1948. Her husband died in 1990.
Mrs. Prystawski is survived by three daughters, Shelley Bernosky of the City of Tonawanda, Sharon Reese of Buffalo and Barbara Gorham of Medina; a son, Ronald of Coral Springs, Fla.; five sisters, Madeline Faiazza of Crystal Beach, Joann Columbus of Ridgeway, Ont., Mary Graham of Crescent Park, Ont., Barbara Wilkie of Stevensville, Ont., and Vicki Cox of Fort Erie, Ont.; and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 71 Adam St., City of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
