S. Anne Berg, 64, of Snyder, a former flight attendant and driving instructor, died unexpectedly Wednesday (Feb. 14, 2001) in Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
The Buffalo native was a graduate of Amherst Central High School. She attended the University of Michigan.
A former flight attendant for United Airlines, she was a travel consultant for Scandinavian Airlines System from 1960 to 1962. She also had been an instructor for local driving schools.
From 1982 to 1986, she worked for SPS, a temporary job placement service. From 1986 until last November, she worked for Durham Temporary Services.
She enjoyed bridge and surfing the Internet and was a collector of antiques, particularly Shirley Temple memorabilia. She also enjoyed collectibles, especially Beanie Babies.
She was a member of Amherst Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, Willard; a daughter, Michele Henriques of Lisbon, Portugal; two sons, Erik and William, both of Amherst; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Amherst Community Church, 77 Washington Highway, Snyder. Burial will be Monday in St. John's Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
