KENNETH N. LINKER

Kenneth N. Linkner, former senior vice president of Banconsumer Service, died Saturday (Feb. 10, 2001) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was 59.

Linkner, of Amherst, was with the City of Tonawanda firm from 1972 to 1998.

Born in Lackawanna, he graduated from Amherst High School in 1960 and the University at Buffalo in 1964.

Linkner served stateside with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly A. of Buffalo and Kelly L. of Maspeth, and his father, Norman J. of Eggertsville.

Private services were held Monday.
